HVAC Duct Installer

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Ductwork Installation Mechanic with 3

• 5 yrs of experience
• preferably with commercial HVAC installs. This is NOT a service tech position. Your responsibilities would primarily involve working on the "air side" of the HVAC system
• meaning installing ductwork (rectangular & spiral ductwork) installing flex duct from duct mains to ceiling mounted GRDs, placing ceiling mounted GRDs within the ceiling, cutting in transition boxes on spiral ductwork and assisting with HVAC package rooftop unit crane lifts.

Occasionally, you may be asked to help the service techs run control wiring, refrigeration piping (i.e. line sets) but for the most part your job would relate to getting ductwork, flex and GRDs installed. If you have some basic experience with sheet metal duct fabrication that would be an added bonus. Ideally you would have your own HVAC sheet metal hand tools (sheet metal cutters, duct snips, hammer, screw driver, sheet metal tongs, cable tie tool, etc.) and power tools (grinder, sawzall, multi-tool, etc.) We can / will provide if needed

• however
• you must have experience using such tools during HVAC installs.

Expect to work on 8, 10 and 12 ft portable ladders, 32 ft extension ladders to access rooftops and scissor lifts to reach roof decks. Right now most of our work is related to commercial retail construction (examples: Crumbl Cookies, Swim Schools, Dollar Trees, Banfield Pet Hospitals, PGA Superstores, Nordstom Rack, Wendys, Buffalo Wild Wings). However, we also install HVAC systems in custom homes as well

• but we work all over New Jersey and eastern PA.

We will reimburse for any gas + toll costs. Looking to hire a full time employee for this role for $65k to $75k depending on experience.
