Andy's Heating and Cooling is a well-established, customer-focused HVAC company proudly serving the Greater Spokane/ CDA area. We specialize in residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning installation, repair, and maintenance. Our reputation is built on quality workmanship, honest service, and taking care of our customers like family. We're looking for a strong, hands-on General Manager to lead our team and drive the continued growth of the business.
Position Overview:
As General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and operation of the company. You will oversee day-to-day operations, support the service and installation management teams, handle customer relations, and work directly with ownership to achieve business goals. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop the service technicians, installers, and office staff Manage scheduling, dispatching, and workflow to ensure efficient operations Oversee hiring, training, and performance management of all employees Maintain high standards for customer service and quality workmanship Monitor financial performance, including job costing, profitability, and budgeting Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards Drive sales growth through upselling, maintenance agreements, and new customer acquisition Handle escalated customer issues with professionalism and problem-solving skills Work closely with ownership on strategic planning and business development Develop and manage company marketing strategy
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of proven leadership experience in the HVAC industry (strongly preferred) Strong technical knowledge of heating and cooling systems Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience managing P&L, budgets, and operational metrics Ability to multitask and make decisions in a dynamic environment Valid driver's license with a clean driving record EPA 608 Certification (preferred) NATE Certification or willingness to obtain is a plus
