Job Description:

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Crump is accepting applications for a full-time faculty position for the HVAC Program at the South Central Correctional Center in Clifton, Tennessee.

GENERAL DUTIES

Instruct students in technical training to prepare them to re-enter the job market in the HVAC field through lecture, demonstrations, and/or audio-visual aids. Prepare and/or revise syllabi of courses of study with detailed lesson plans. Administer assessments to evaluate student progress. Maintain student academic records and submit reports related to the program (i.e., grades, attendance, discipline, etc.). Attend workshops and/or other training programs to remain current in the HVAC industry. Overnight travel may be required. Conduct and/or attend meetings, day and/or evening, with business and industry to develop working relationships with HVAC industry personnel. Perform other duties as may be assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Three years of successful recent employment in the area taught. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Evidence of good character, mature attitude, and stable personality. Prior teaching or evidence of ability to teach students a plus.

SALARY:

Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines
