  • Full-time Overview Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Maintenance Technician and become a vital part of maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems across diverse property environments.
In this energetic role, you'll apply your technical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and optimize HVAC and related equipment, ensuring optimal performance and comfort. Your hands-on skills will directly impact the safety and satisfaction of building occupants while providing opportunities for growth in a fast-paced, service-oriented setting. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and plumbing fixtures. Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Repair or replace HVAC components, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), appliances, and plumbing fixtures to ensure continuous operation. Read and interpret HVAC design plans and schematics to accurately diagnose system problems and implement effective solutions. Conduct field service work involving equipment repair, welding, boiler maintenance, and mechanical adjustments to maintain optimal system performance. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and logs for all repairs and inspections performed. Operate a driver vehicle safely for on-site visits or equipment transport as needed. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC/R systems, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), plumbing, and appliance repair. Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans accurately. Hands-on experience with field service operations involving equipment repair, welding, boiler maintenance, or property maintenance tasks. Familiarity with construction standards related to HVAC installation and maintenance projects. Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively for troubleshooting electrical components. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating a driver vehicle preferred. Knowledge of safety protocols related to HVAC/R work environments including handling refrigerants like ammonia safely.
