  • The Comunale Group is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to work with our Pleasantville, NJ team to serve our customers located in South Jersey and surrounding areas.
Compensation for this position is base pay plus monthly commission. Our HVAC Outside Sales Managers establish relationships within the HVAC/R industry and are known as trusted business advisors who monitor market conditions, supplier marketing programs, product innovations, competitors' products, prices, and sales and other opportunities and contributes to our growth and profitability. During the first phase of your experience with The Comunale Group, you will develop a thorough knowledge of our existing relationships and research potential new clients. You will also learn the capabilities of our CRM tool. In the next phase, you will begin to build relationships with influencers and decision makers to enhance customer engagement by asking questions, listening, and observing to understand your client's needs. After completing the beginning phases of your experience, you will continue to build trust with your clients by conducting routine calls to continue learning about your client's business needs. As a trusted business advisor, you will be able to take a consultative approach to sales, be able to present insights and solutions by proposing product and service programs that are linked to your clients' business needs, maintain profitability metrics, and articulate the value of programs and services. Collaboration, communication, and coordination are valuable characteristics that we look for in our team members. With these characteristics you will be able to help your customers define their next steps and then be able to coach them through forecasting sales, the planning process, and the buying process. With these characteristics you will be able to participate in management discussions regarding territory plans, forecasts, and sales goals, as well as create strong working relationships with branch and internal department team members so that together customer expectations are exceeded, and new opportunities uncovered by branch and internal team members are proactively pursued. Our Territory Sales Managers have a minimum of two years of successful direct B2B sales experience with knowledge of HVAC/R wholesale distribution business factors influencing profit and loss, and customer business operations. They are efficient in managing time and resources, prioritizing, following up on action items, and executing sales programs. Technical skills such Microsoft Office Suite, Showpad, CRM, and Point-of-Sale are required skills.
