Job Description

HVAC Sales Manager / Comfort Advisor Bluffdale, UT 84065 Full-time Full-time Utah Climate Pros is a trusted residential HVAC company serving homeowners across Utah. We have built our reputation on quality installations, reliable service, and honest recommendations. As demand for system replacements continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced HVAC sales leader to own the estimate-to-close process, strengthen our sales performance, and help guide the next stage of growth for our replacement division. Position Overview The HVAC Sales Manager / Comfort Advisor will meet with homeowners during pre-set appointments to evaluate their current heating and cooling system, understand comfort concerns, recommend replacement or upgrade options, and present clear proposals. This role requires strong sales ability, professionalism, follow-up discipline, and the ability to explain HVAC options in a way that is simple, honest, and easy for homeowners to understand. This is primarily an individual sales role today, with room to grow into a larger sales leadership position as the company expands. Responsibilities As our HVAC Sales Manager / Comfort Advisor, you will: Run company-provided appointments for HVAC replacement and system upgrade estimates Meet with homeowners in person or virtually to evaluate their needs Inspect or review existing HVAC systems and gather the information needed to prepare accurate estimates Present system options clearly, including good, better, and best recommendations Educate homeowners on equipment options, efficiency, rebates, warranties, financing, and installation timelines Build trust with customers and help them feel confident in their decision Close replacement and installation sales Follow up with open estimates and maintain an organized sales pipeline Communicate clearly with the install, operations, and office teams after a sale is closed Enter notes, estimate details, and follow-up activity into the company CRM Track sales activity, close rate, average ticket, and revenue sold Represent Utah Climate Pros with professionalism, honesty, and care What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a strong closer, but not a pushy one. We want someone who can sell with confidence, explain options clearly, and do right by the homeowner.
Strong candidates will have:
Previous HVAC sales, comfort advisor, or in-home sales experience Experience selling residential HVAC replacements, installs, upgrades, or home services Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to build rapport quickly with homeowners Confidence handling objections and asking for the sale Basic understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, efficiency ratings, installation needs, and comfort concerns Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline Comfort using CRM systems, estimating tools, video calls, email, text, and basic sales technology Professional appearance and strong customer service mindset Valid driver's license and ability to travel to appointments in the service area Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of HVAC sales experience Previous Comfort Advisor experience Experience with residential replacement sales Familiarity with financing options, rebates, and system upgrade conversations Experience using GoHighLevel, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, or similar home service software Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals Compensation This is a commission-driven role with no cap on earning potential. We are looking for someone who is motivated by performance and wants to grow with a company that is actively investing in lead generation, appointment setting, and sales infrastructure.
