Job Description

Schneider Mechanical is a growing residential and commercial HVAC service and installation provider in the greater Austin, TX market who prides itself on superior customer service and workmanship. We value and serve our community and lead our industry evidenced by our customer retention and satisfaction ratings. We go above and beyond to ensure we deliver what we promise and for the price we promised it. We serve both residential and commercial clients. $10,000.00 sign-on bonus! Performance pay structure ($100k-$150k+ per year on average, but the sky is the limit): 20% of invoice on service visits. $25 for each residential maintenance performed. Commercial maintenance is commission based as a normal service. Up to 10% commission on system sales. Up to 3% commission on lead flips.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC systems with accuracy and efficiency. Build lasting relationships with customers by providing professional, friendly, and transparent service. Educate customers on solutions to improve their comfort, system performance and quality of living. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC technologies and best practices. Stay informed about high-end and energy-efficient systems to support our premium customer base. Identify opportunities for system upgrades, maintenance plans, and accessories that enhance the customer experience and system performance. Assist with lead sales to drive value for the customer and the company. Represent the company with a professional appearance, courteous demeanor, and strong work ethic. Respect customer property and leave work areas cleaner than you found them. Work closely with the service department and management to achieve team goals and exceed customer expectations. What we need from you! Minimum 3 years of HVAC service/sales experience. EPA certification and TDLR Registered Technician are required. NATE certification is a plus. Demonstrated diagnostic and evaluation capabilities on residential and commercial systems. Formal industry technical training with certifications. Ability to work in varying locations and situations and lift up to 50 lbs. Punctual and self-moticated with extreme dedication to the customer's experience. Easily builds trust and rapport with customers providing a comprehensive summary of findings leading to option-based offerings. Keeps knowledge current with new equipment options and technology and are capable advising customers of the best replacement options available. Familiarity with field service platforms (Service Titan preferred), mobile devices, and diagnostic tools. Must have all tools needed for daily calls.
Performance pay structure:
20% of invoice on service visits. $25 for each residential maintenance performed. Commercial maintenance is commission based as a normal service. Up to 12% commission on system sales.
