HVAC Service Technician

Founded in 1983, SAV-MOR Cooling & Heating, Inc. is one of the leading installation and service HVAC companies for both residential and commercial clients through out Connecticut. We have an immediate opening for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to maintain, install and repair heating, cooling and ventilation systems. Our ideal candidate is licensed with at least two years of professional experience HVAC repair experience and can work independently. Technicians are responsible for performing routine maintenance, warranty and emergency repairs on air quality systems. To be successful in this role: customer satisfaction, comfort and safety are the top priority.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

Travel to homes and business as scheduled Respond to emergency maintenance requests Determine customer concerns with current HVAC system Inspect and diagnose the effectiveness and safety of current HVAC system Perform necessary repairs and routing maintenance Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Requirements & Qualifications:

Current

CT HVAC D-2

license or higher OSHA 10 Certification Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and insurable driving record Exemplary customer service skills Previous experience in HVAC or other related fields Ability to read and interpret HVAC wiring diagrams and blueprints Proficient with a wide rand of equipment, tools and troubleshooting techniques Knowledge in basic sheet metal practices and air balancing techniques and principles
