HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, with experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing various heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. The HVAC Technician will work on mostly commercial systems implementing hot gas reheat for dehumidification , ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Must Have :

• Minimum (3) Years Experience in HVAC Service, Repairs, and Troubleshooting
• Clean driving record
• EPA Certified
• Basic Hand Tools
• Gauges Our Tool Program will help you purchase any necessary tools (Vans are provided with torches, recovery and vacuum pumps.)
• Can Do Attitude, Be responsible, Punctual, and take Pride in your craft Duties Service, repair, and/or maintenance of air conditioners, heat pumps, packaged units, ductless split systems, VRF units, humidification and dehumidification equipment, (Experience with hot gas reheat/ Addison package units to 30 tons a plus.

) The ability to troubleshoot low voltage and refrigeration systems, incorporating hot gas reheat for dehumidification. VFD and Controls experience a plus. Assist with on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair and calibration after repairs. Uses technical abilities to maintain systems. Navigate, clear alarms, reset, and adjust parameters on VFDs Ability to replace Compressors and Belt driven Motors Works in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction. Must work in a safe manner on a daily basis and ensure that all safety measures are taken at all times. Performs other duties as assigned. Due to common working conditions, candidates must be able to function in extreme temperatures, and have the ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC/R field. Strong mechanical knowledge related to heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems. Familiarity with appliance repair techniques is a plus. Solid understanding of air conditioning design principles. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Valid driver's license/ insurable driving record is required. Flexibility to work overtime, on-call and weekends required. Ability to safely lift to 50 lbs., climb and balance on a ladder, and work in elevated/high locations. Travel up to 160 miles round-trip per day Must be comfortable working in a 420 environment.
