Thompson is seeking an experienced senior service technician. We are seeking a candidate with 2+ years in HVAC maintenance/service/install. A leader for our team and a resource for our junior service techs for technical assistance. With ideal candidate and leadership attributes opportunity for service management promotes possible. We are seeking a team player who works well under pressure and will assist the rest of the staff in completing tasks and projects successfully. The ideal candidate for this position is an energetic, detail-oriented professional who has a background in installing and maintaining HVAC systems. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects, so it is important for them to have a background working with electrical equipment like air conditioners, furnaces and heat exchangers. Responsibilities:

Be able to work with contractors and clients to determine problem areas and solutions. Know how to identify and use the proper parts, materials, and tools. Be able to communicate effectively with technicians, clients and co-workers. Be able to read schematics Know how to solve problems while staying within company guidelines and regulations. Be able to troubleshoot a problem area or system
