Job Description

We are currently looking for a HVAC Technician. This candidate will perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, modify and repair air-conditioning equipment in an industrial environment according to safety codes and regulations. Applicants must have excellent trouble shooting skills. Successful candidates will be dependable, a self-starter, highly motivated, proactive, and organized with the ability to multi task, take direction, and stay calm in a high stress environment. Some Saturdays and overtime will be required based on business needs. The ideal candidate will have a 2 year certificate from college or technical school, OR at least two years related experience and/or training, OR equivalent combination of education and experience; Prove that they have a clean driving record with the ability to provide a copy of their MVR; Maintain a positive attitude; Demonstrate the ability to communicate to employees and members of the team effectively; Working knowledge of computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); Ability to demonstrate creative problem solving and decision making abilities; Participate on a team as an active team player and be self-motivated to get projects and day-to-day maintenance tasks and repairs completed. Our Maintenance team supports over 40 buildings in the Clearfield Freeport Center and are faced with a wide variety of tasks to help maintain, beautify and build production and office spaces in our Corporate Headquarters. Candidates that are looking for an opportunity to learn and grow within a department will be a good fit for our Maintenance Team.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to provide a clean MVR Aptitude for Maintenance related skills and a willingness to learn various components of the job Must have the ability to read and write in English and basis mathematical skills Overtime may be required, including some Saturdays and some flexibility with hours
