PAID TRAINING

Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units, and ventilation systems using schematics and technical manuals. Diagnose mechanical issues with HVAC/R equipment utilizing tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic devices. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety standards. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams related to HVAC design and property maintenance projects. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including refrigerant line repairs and drainage issues. Maintain detailed service records, complete reports on repairs performed, system diagnostics, and maintenance schedules. Operate a driver vehicle safely for field service calls across various locations. Assist with refrigeration systems involving ammonia or other refrigerants in accordance with safety protocols. Support welding or mechanical repairs on HVAC or boiler equipment when required. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician 2 plus years in the field is required. Service Titan experience a plus. Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems including refrigeration, air conditioning, boilers, and refrigeration units. Knowledge of schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design principles. Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems and appliance repair techniques. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for installation or troubleshooting purposes. Familiarity with field service operations including equipment repair and maintenance tasks. Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting. Mechanical skills including welding and boiler maintenance are highly desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating driver vehicles preferred. Certification or experience in HVAC/R technology is advantageous; relevant licenses are a plus.
