Job Description
Position Overview Dynamic Well Service is launching a new Tubing Hydro Testing Division, and we are looking for a motivated, safety-driven Tubing Hydro Tester to help build this department from the ground up. This position plays a critical role in ensuring tubing integrity through proper hydrostatic pressure testing, documentation, and quality control. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and takes pride in producing accurate, professional results for our customers. Because this is a new division, we are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company and help establish high standards from day one. Primary Responsibilities Perform hydrostatic pressure testing on tubing per company and customer specifications Inspect tubing for damage, thread integrity, and defects prior to testing Set up and operate hydro testing equipment safely and efficiently Monitor pressure gauges and testing systems during operations Accurately document test results, pressures, and tubing specifications Maintain organized test logs and digital records Ensure all safety procedures are followed during high-pressure testing Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area Perform routine maintenance and inspections on hydro testing equipment Communicate clearly with supervisors and operations regarding test results Identify and report damaged or rejected tubing Safety Expectations Safety is non-negotiable at Dynamic Well Service. Follow all hydrostatic pressure testing safety protocols Participate in JSAs and safety meetings Identify hazards and exercise Stop Work Authority when necessary Ensure proper PPE is worn at all times Maintain clear communication during high-pressure operations
Qualifications Required:
Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to follow detailed procedures and document accurately Ability to work outdoors in North Dakota weather conditions Strong attention to detail Ability to lift 50+ lbs Valid driver's licenseCDL Preferred:
Oilfield experience Experience with tubing, workover rigs, or pressure testing equipment Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting Key Traits for Success Because this is a new department, we are looking for someone who: Takes ownership and accountability Is self-motivated and stays on task Understands the importance of documentation and quality control Maintains a clean and organized workspace Works well independently and as part of a team Wants to help build and improve a growing division Work Schedule & Environment Full-time position May require overtime depending on workload Shop and yard-based work, with potential field support Exposure to high-pressure systems and heavy equipment Growth Opportunity This is an opportunity to help establish the Tubing Hydro Testing division within Dynamic Well Service.
