As we scale, we're looking for a highly skilled Hydrocarbon Extractor who brings strong leadership, deep industry knowledge, and a commitment to safe, compliant, and efficient extraction operations. Position Summary The Hydrocarbon Extractor is responsible for operating, maintaining, and optimizing hydrocarbon extraction equipment to produce high‑quality concentrates. This role requires advanced technical knowledge, strict adherence to Colorado MED regulations, the ability to lead and support a small extraction team. Key Responsibilities Operate hydrocarbon extraction systems (BHO/PHO) safely and efficiently Oversee daily lab operations, ensuring compliance with Colorado MED and OSHA standards Maintain and troubleshoot extraction equipment, closed‑loop systems, and post‑processing tools Produce high‑quality concentrates including shatter, wax, live resin, diamonds, and sauce Manage biomass intake, yields, batch tracking, and METRC compliance Lead and mentor extraction technicians; support a culture of safety and accountability Maintain accurate SOPs, logs, and documentation for all extraction and post‑processing activities Collaborate with leadership on production goals, product development, and process improvements Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the lab environment Required Qualifications 2-4+ years of hands‑on hydrocarbon extraction experience in a licensed cannabis facility Strong understanding of Colorado MED regulations , compliance, and METRC workflows Proven experience operating closed‑loop hydrocarbon extraction systems Knowledge of post‑processing techniques (winterization, filtration, CRC, purging, etc.) Demonstrated leadership ability — training, supervising, or managing lab staff Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to work in a fast‑paced, competitive production environment Commitment to safety, consistency, and high‑quality output Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a lead extractor or lab manager role Familiarity with solvent recovery systems, vacuum ovens, and analytical testing Strong understanding of hydrocarbon safety protocols and hazardous materials handling Experience developing new concentrate SKUs or improving extraction efficiencies What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for advancement as we expand across Colorado Supportive leadership and a growth‑focused environment Employee discounts and industry perks
