8am-3pm Your Role as a Hygiene Assistant As a Hygiene Assistant, you'll collaborate with our practice team to provide outstanding clinical support, ensuring patients receive the care they need. You'll prepare patients for treatment, assist the hygienist/dentist in restorative procedures, and maintain a high standard of care and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Provide assistance to the dental hygienist to prepare the room, seat patients, and take proper documentation of the patients visit Ability to record and review patients' health history, make chart entries under the direction of the Doctor or hygienist, and assures completion of all necessary forms and signatures needed Educate patients on their treatment plans as well as maintaining their oral health Ability to work in a fast-paced environment possessing excellent interpersonal skills such as establishing positive relationships with our team and patients Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in writing with a service-oriented approach What You'll Need to Succeed Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training. 1-5 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply. Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific). Current CPR certification. Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
