Job Description HII's Mission Technologies division is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that advance national security and defense objectives. This position is part of our Cyber and Intelligence division, which plays a critical role in supporting Enterprise-Level Security and Modernization efforts across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, physical facilities, and personnel operations. The selected candidate will contribute to a high-impact government program focused on enhancing and securing mission-critical systems and environments. Due to the classified nature of the mission and the sensitivity of the operational environment, an active TS/SCI security clearance will be required. This posting is to collect applications for current and future openings for HII Mission Technologies. Essential Job Responsibilities Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- 5+ years implementing, operating, and maintaining an enterprise-level virtualization system backed by Microsoft, Nutanix, or VmWare.
- 5+ years implementing, operating, and maintaining an enterprise-level storage system backed by Nutanix, AWS, Microsoft, Netapp, Dell EMC, and Linux +.
- Active TS clearance w/ SCI eligibility required to start, candidate must be willing and able to obtain and maintain an active CI Poly once hired. Preferred Requirements
- Nutanix Certified Advanced Professional or similar vendor technical certification in storage, virtualization, or data protection (Nutanix preferred. Microsoft, VmWare, NetApp, AWS, Azure accepted)
- Experience in the operations, maintenance, and best practices of Nutanix ECP solutions focusing on Acropolis, AHV, Prism, Calm, Files, Flow, Era, Volumes, and Objects.
Physical Requirements Office, industrial, or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
