Responsibilities Serve ice cream and other frozen desserts with precision and care, ensuring consistent quality and presentation Engage warmly with customers, taking their orders accurately and upselling additional toppings or treats to enhance their experience Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately Maintain cleanliness of workstations, including scooping stations, counters, and dining areas, following sanitation standards Handle cash transactions responsibly, including cash handling and balancing registers at shift end Assist with food preparation tasks such as topping assembly, cone preparation, and ingredient restocking Support food safety protocols by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices Buss tables and assist with general restaurant duties to ensure a smooth flow of service during busy hours Experience Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and create positive interactions with guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and order calculations Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience working in a café, retail store, grocery store, or similar setting that involves serving customers or managing food products is advantageous Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service Join us to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering delightful treats in a lively environment!
