ICU Nurse Short term Contract

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team Prestige Travel Nurses as an ICU Nurse on a short-term contract in the Chicagoland area! Requirements for this are:

Valid RN Illinois nursing license Proven 2 years ICU experience or critical care background within hospital settings, including Level I or Level II trauma centers preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Hands-on experience with ventilator management, laboratory testing, specimen collection/processing, and aseptic technique. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation and patient records management. Ability to perform complex procedures including IV insertion, tube feeding management, and physical examinations under pressure. Willing to float sister hospitals with in the area in your speciality Flexibility to work various shifts in an inpatient setting; travel nursing experience is a plus.

Pay:

$1,900.00 - $2,300.00 per week
