Clear Channel Outdoor Job Summary:
Provides regional oversight expertise and direction on construction projects, including takedowns, digital deployments/replacements and capital improvements. Directly manages crew(s) and contractors to ensure delivery of results on time and at or below budgeted levels. Job Responsibilities Directs all operations relating to new build, rebuilt, relocation, & safety upgrades of advertising structures within assigned region. Coordinates contract work for market upgrades. Fulfills and meets branch quality standards Hires, disciplines, discharges, supervises, trains, governs, assigns, coordinates capital work schedules of employees and sub-contractors within the region. Judges the competency of employees and sub-contractors within the region and assess their general fitness to work. Reviews, maintains and implements safe work practices and compliance with all applicable OSHA, EPA and other regulatory requirements. Conducts pre-construction and on-site evaluations of safety, quality, efficiency and other criteria essential to effective operations. Sets targets and standards for productivity, safety, cost, regulatory compliance, inventory control, purchasing, etc. Corrects unsafe condition and can evaluate and provide solutions for temporary or permanent repair. Initiates, evaluates and implements new technology, methods, policies and procedures. Works closely with branch real estate and operation departments relating to new build, rebuilding, relocation, & safety upgrades of advertising structures. Revises construction schedules and priorities as a result of equipment failure, operating problems, weather conditions, client needs, or other factors as needed within assigned region. Obtains quotes and makes purchases of material and equipment as needed. Some items subject to VP Operations budgeting and approval in Centreview. Provide budget estimates as needed. Review final material selection for capital purchasing. Maintains complete updated and accurate records of fleet of vehicles-includes authorizing & coordinating all necessary repairs and maintenance within assigned region. Establishes and maintains relationships with independent contractors and vendors / suppliers and negotiates best possible rates for their products & services. Liaison between field and Vice President. Responsible for reviewing the time sheets of the crew in their region for accurate reporting policies and procedures within Workday. Request, review and approve expense reports in Concur. Coordinates with Vice President travel and work schedule for crew in his region. Review and advise inspectors when needed. Special Projects and design applications for safety. Other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications Education and Certifications Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience. Work Experience A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing construction projects Project Management experience preferred. Skills Must be able to read blueprints, have essential math skills. Management of construction projects at all levels including administrative, estimation, supply chain, deployment, and site development, etc. Ability to leverage Project Management tools and knowledge to streamline construction projects and other tasks as defined Capable of partnering with multiple departments (i.e. Real Estate, Finance, Operations, etc.) and levels within the organization to accomplish goals.

Physical Demands The demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee must have the ability to sit and/or stand at a desk for a minimum of eight (8) hours a day and complete tasks requiring repetitive use of hands. Employee must have the ability to lift and move items up to 15 pounds. Employee must have the ability to see written documents and computer screens, and to adjust focus. This job is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment. Site visits in a construction environment. Climbing ladders and/or stairs and work at elevations from 10 feet to more than 100 feet. Lifting and positioning ladders, safety equipment and materials in excess of 85 pounds. Other Requirements Able to travel up to 25% of the time for in person coaching, training, construction site visits, market visits or Corporate meetings. Travel as needed to schedule, coordinate work, and evaluate sites within region. Extended travel in and out of the region could result during emergency response. The Targeted Compensation Range for this Illinois position is:

$78,000
Salary Max:
