Registrar Job Summary This position will conduct credential evaluations, analyze student records, and serve as a specialist in the area of transfer credit evaluation. The incumbent will learn University and academic policies and be able to communicate in person and/or by phone with students, parents, faculty advisors, counselors, chairs, and deans.

• $18.50 per hour Required Qualifications 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Any one or combination totaling one (1) year (12 months) from the categories below: A. Coursework in any discipline as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
• 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months) B.

Work experience in administrative support, admissions and enrollment, customer service, public relations, records management, or closely related experience. Preferred Qualifications 1. Working knowledge of all past and present University policies and State of Illinois teacher certification requirements pertaining to the awarding of degrees and certificate programs. 2. Knowledge of University structure, including the functions of the various positions. 3. Ability to read and interpret transcripts and catalogs from other schools and communicate in understandable terms all University policies and procedures. 4. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Access. 5. Ability to organize competing priorities in order to complete work by the deadlines. 6. Ability to work under pressure yet maintain and express a positive attitude. Work Hours Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm Functional Expectations Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation: 1. Effectively communicate on a daily basis 2. Remain at a workstation for extended periods. 3. Distinguish colors on a monitor. 4.
