$20.51 USD / hour Eligible for Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act Immersive Experience Attendant - Minecraft Villager Rescue - PHI Studio US Variable schedule; part time and/or full time / available on weekends.
JOB OVERVIEW
The Immersive Experience Attendants will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, engaging, and interactive guest experience within Minecraft Villager Rescue , a live, location-based experience. They will be in direct contact with visitors and act as Experience Guides, welcoming guests, building excitement, and supporting them throughout their journey. Attendants play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining guest flow, and creating a fun, socially engaging environment inspired by the world of Minecraft. They will work closely with Supervisors, Managers, and technical teams to ensure operational excellence and an elevated guest experience at all times.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome visitors, validate their tickets, and prepare groups for entry into the experience; Manage queues and ensure proper guest flow based on timed ticketing; Build excitement and engage guests before and throughout the experience; Guide and support visitors in interactive gameplay areas, ensuring they understand how to participate; Distribute, explain, and support the use of any engagement devices or experience elements; Answer visitor questions and provide excellent customer service at all times; Operate POS systems for ticket sales, and scanning when required; Monitor guest flow and communicate updates to ensure smooth operations; Support visitors in case of operational or technical issues and relay information to the appropriate teams; Maintain cleanliness and organization of all guest-facing areas; Ensure that spaces are safe, clean, and fully operational during opening hours; Collaborate with Front of House and Back of House teams to flag and resolve issues efficiently; May rotate between Experience, Boutique, and Box Office functions to support overall operations; Perform additional duties as required to support the success of the experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal and guest engagement skills; Strong communication skills in English; Energetic, welcoming, and confident interacting with diverse audiences; Ability to create a fun, engaging, and socially interactive environment; Strong sense of customer service and hospitality; Organized, punctual, proactive, and a strong team player; Ability to stand, move, and remain active for long periods of time; Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays; Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment; Interest in video games, interactive experiences, or entertainment is a strong asset; Previous experience in customer service, attractions, live events, or sales is an asset; Experience with POS systems is an asset; First aid certification is an asset; Minimum post-secondary education completed.
