  • (26002624) The Office of International Services at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking an Immigration Specialist to join our Employment team.
In this role, you will facilitate legal immigration applications and processes, serve as a liaison between the University and government agencies, and act as a resource for the University community. You will also be responsible for ensuring accurate document processing, maintaining compliance, and performing international credential evaluations for the admissions process. Responsibilities include coordinating with faculty, staff, and students across the University to facilitate and maintain lawful immigration status and employment authorization. Educate faculty and department administrators on immigration and visa requirements, ensuring University-wide compliance. Serve as a go-to resource for the Pitt community on complex visa and immigration questions, providing clear and accurate guidance. Maintain relationships with government agencies, sponsoring organizations, and foreign embassies to support visa documentation and employment authorization. Prepare reports and analyses on immigration trends and regulatory developments for internal use and required government reporting. Support the admissions process by evaluating international academic credentials as needed. Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of related experience required.
