 $12.00/hour plus tips Reports to: Front of House Manager Summary Barbacks with WCO will assist the bartending staff with maintaining the overall cleanliness and inventory levels of the bar area, including replenishing drink ware, ingredients, and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Prepare for service making sure inventory is stocked, juices are made, fruit and garnishes are readily available, ice is filled, etc. Keeping up with infusion, syrups, and juicing pars Communicating with bar staff on 86'ed items and inventory that is low on stock. Partake in general bar appearance, insuring tidiness and cleanliness. Keeping up with barware, making sure we are washing in a timely fashion. Dispose of dirty dishes. Act as support for the bar staff. Check out with bartender and MOD before clocking out. Requirements High school diploma or general equivalent. Prior experience as a bar back preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor. Dress Code Nonslip shoes of any color must be closed and have backs on them. Outfits of any kind must be tasteful, no offensive words or phrases. No midriffs, bottoms must be of finger tip length, no spaghetti strap tank tops/strapless shirts and armpits exposed must be shaved. Standard hygiene practices must be followed. Work Environment Operates in a standard restaurant environment. Moderate to loud noise. Frequent exposure to variable temperature changes and steam. Physical Demands Ability to bend, squat, run, and physically react in a prompt manner. Ability to lift 50lbs. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
