Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Coordinator with 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations. This role is essential to ensuring smooth shipment execution, effective communication, and high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and monitor all aspects of shipment operations, including booking, documentation, tracking, and delivery timelines. Manage communication with carriers, customers, and vendors to ensure on-time shipments and resolve any issues that arise during transit. Prepare and review shipping documentation, such as bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Track and manage inventory, monitor freight movements, and update internal systems to provide accurate shipment status to stakeholders. Assist in negotiating freight rates and maintaining relationships with carriers and logistics partners. Analyze operations workflows to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions for continuous improvement. Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, customer service, and finance to address client needs and ensure high satisfaction.

Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations. Strong knowledge of transportation modes, customs regulations, and international shipping procedures. Proficiency in using logistics software and tracking systems. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
