Job Description
Overview Join our compassionate team as an In-Home Care Provider, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals needing assistance with daily activities and medical needs. This rewarding position offers the opportunity to deliver personalized care in clients' homes, promoting independence, safety, and well-being. As an integral part of our caregiving community, you will empower clients to live comfortably and confidently while receiving respectful, attentive support tailored to their unique needs. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and document patients' health status, vital signs, and behavioral changes to ensure optimal care Prepare nutritious meals and manage medication administration according to care plans and HIPAA regulations Support clients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and assist with transfers safely and effectively Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and laundry Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation Follow detailed care plans created by healthcare professionals, ensuring all services meet individual requirements for Alzheimer's, dementia, autism, or developmental disabilities Requirements Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings with a focus on senior or disability care Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication management, and vital signs monitoring Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training preferred; willingness to obtain necessary certifications upon hire Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for patient transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts Strong communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and family members effectively Compassionate attitude with a dedication to providing respectful and dignified care in clients' homes Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends or overnight as needed Join us in making a meaningful difference every day!
