The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caregiving, with experience in geriatric care preferred. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our clients while encouraging their independence. We are currently expanding our caregiver network to fill day and evening shifts across Allegheny County , including: Pittsburgh, Monroeville, North Hills, South Hills, Rankin, Swissvale, Downtown Pittsburgh, Homestead,Duquesne,Penn Hills, Southside , and surrounding areas. This is a part-time position , with the potential for full-time hours based on availability and scheduling needs. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation etc. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Monitor and document changes in clients' health conditions and report any concerns to family members or healthcare professionals. Provide medication reminders as prescribed and assist with medical appointments. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in hobbies or interests. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and emergency procedures. Experience Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or direct care worker is preferred, but not required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong communication skills , with patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines Basic housekeeping and meal preparation skills Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with physical mobility as needed Join our caregiver network to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you care for while advancing your skills in a supportive environment.
