Job Summary •We are looking to staff 12 hour shifts in Walton, Kentucky Monday- Sunday as soon as possible. - Caregiver experience required. Must be able to assist with Transfers and have effective communication skills to give verbal cues and prompting. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patients' vital signs and observe changes in health status to ensure safety and well-being Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Administer medications accurately following care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents or changes in condition Support clients with cognitive impairments by implementing memory care strategies and engaging in meaningful activities Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment to promote overall health and comfort Skills Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments with a strong understanding of patient observation and monitoring techniques Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are highly desirable Ability to lift heavy objects safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts; physical stamina for long shifts is essential Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and social workers Familiarity with medication administration protocols and creating personalized care plans Compassionate attitude combined with strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently Join us in providing exceptional home health care that empowers individuals to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.
