Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with daily activities and personal care. This vital role offers the opportunity to provide personalized, respectful, and professional assistance in clients' homes, promoting independence, safety, and well-being. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, mental state, and overall condition; report changes promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations Operate mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs safely during transfers; perform heavy lifting when required Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks and infection control practices Support clients with specialized care needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorder, or developmental disabilities Follow detailed care plans developed by healthcare professionals and document all care activities thoroughly Provide emotional support and companionship to promote social engagement and mental well-being Collaborate with healthcare providers, family members, and social workers to ensure comprehensive patient care Requirements Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home settings or group homes preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges highly desirable Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred for client visits within the community Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life Join us in delivering exceptional home care that empowers individuals to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.
