Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' vital signs and observe changes in health status to ensure prompt response to concerns Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations to maintain safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Operate mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts and provide safe transfer assistance for residents with disabilities or mobility challenges Conduct patient observation, report findings accurately, and update care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry Support clients with Alzheimer's, dementia, autism, or other developmental disabilities through specialized memory care techniques Document all care activities meticulously while respecting patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Provide emotional support, companionship, and social engagement to enhance overall well-being Experience Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings preferred Knowledge of patient care procedures including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and emergency response (CPR/First Aid) Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer's or dementia Familiarity with care plans development and implementation tailored to individual needs Hands-on experience using mobility equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident transfer devices is advantageous Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when assisting residents with mobility or transfers Compassionate attitude combined with excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams PCA, HHA. or CNA is a must Embark on a fulfilling career where your caregiving skills directly improve lives.
