Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by taking vital signs and observing for any changes or concerns Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA confidentiality standards Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Operate mobility equipment such as Hoyer lifts and ensure safe transfer techniques for residents with disabilities or mobility challenges Maintain detailed documentation of patient care activities, observations, and progress in compliance with healthcare regulations Support clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or memory care needs through engaging activities and compassionate supervision Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning to maintain a safe and healthy environment Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans and provide direct support for complex needs Provide emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation Skills Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes with a focus on senior or long-term care Strong knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and HIPAA regulations Certified in CPR and First Aid; experience with hospice or palliative care is a plus Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or Alzheimer's disease Ability to lift heavy objects safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts; physically capable of assisting residents with mobility needs Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with healthcare teams and family members Compassionate demeanor combined with strong attention to detail for accurate documentation and patient monitoring Join us as an In Home Caregiver where your dedication directly impacts lives.
