Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated team as an In Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care and support. This vital role involves providing compassionate, professional assistance to clients in their homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and independence. You will work closely with clients to deliver tailored care plans that promote well-being and enhance quality of life. Duties Monitor patients' vital signs and observe changes in health status to report promptly to healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and assist with meal planning and cooking to promote healthy living. Administer medications accurately according to care plans while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment to ensure a clean and comfortable living space. Support clients during outings or community activities, promoting social engagement and independence. Document care activities meticulously, including patient observations, medication administration, and updates for care plans. Experience Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of patient care techniques including CPR, first aid, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities. Experience working with residents who have complex medical needs such as medication management or vital signs monitoring. Familiarity with assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or resident's (personal equipment) is advantageous. Proven ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform physically demanding tasks required for patient transfers and mobility support. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensures confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive health information. Compassionate attitude combined with excellent communication skills to foster trust and positive relationships with clients and their families.
