Job Description
Job Overview Join our compassionate team as an In-Home Caregiver, where you will provide essential support and personalized care to individuals in their own homes. This role is vital in promoting independence, enhancing quality of life, and ensuring safety for those who need assistance with daily activities. You will be a trusted companion and caregiver, delivering respectful, attentive, and professional service that makes a meaningful difference every day. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming,incontinence and mobility support to promote comfort and independence. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring dietary restrictions and preferences are respected. Provide companionship by engaging clients in conversation, recreational activities, and emotional support to foster well-being. Manage medication reminders and ensure safety protocols are followed within the home environment. Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and organizing to maintain a safe and comfortable living space. Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals promptly. Follow care plans meticulously while maintaining confidentiality and respecting client privacy at all times. Qualifications Prior experience in home care or related fields such as geriatrics, medical-surgical nursing, or post-acute care is highly valued. Experience working with individuals requiring Level II trauma center or hospital medicine knowledge is a plus. Knowledge of outpatient clinic procedures and sub-acute care practices enhances your ability to deliver comprehensive care. Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to diverse client needs while demonstrating patience and empathy. Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred; relevant training in geriatrics or outpatient care is beneficial. Join us in making a positive impact through dedicated in-home care!
