ASAP Introduction Idaho In Home Care is expanding in the region and we are urgently seeking a compassionate caregiver to assist a Veteran in the Grangeville, Idaho area. While we are new to this immediate area, we are not new to Idaho and we are certainly not new to caregiving. Our agency is caregiver-ran, meaning our leadership team has worked in the field ourselves. We understand the emotional commitment, responsibility, and long hours that come with caring for others. Job Overview This position involves providing compassionate in-home support for a Veteran. The client requires attentive, respectful care and assistance with daily living activities. Caregivers must be dependable, patient, and comfortable assisting with mobility and personal care while maintaining a calm and supportive presence in the home. This role may involve more hands-on support, so experience with higher-level care needs is helpful. Duties & Responsibilities Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Provide mobility assistance, repositioning, and transfers as needed Support the client's comfort and safety while maintaining dignity and respect Prepare simple meals and assist with feeding if needed Provide medication reminders Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment Offer companionship and emotional support to the client and family Document care activities as required Qualifications & Experience Ability to pass a criminal background check Ability to pass a drug screen Willingness to complete required DSHS online training Reliable transportation Ability to safely lift and assist up to 25 pounds Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required Why Join Our Team?
