Job Overview:
Caregiver for Sadorus Area Evenings, Weekends and as needed. Join our dedicated team as an In Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care and support. This vital role involves providing compassionate, comprehensive assistance to clients in their own homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will deliver tailored care plans that promote independence and enhance quality of life, all while fostering trusting relationships built on respect and empathy. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' vital signs and observe for any changes in health status to ensure prompt intervention when necessary Administer medications following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to safely transfer residents or patients with mobility challenges Maintain detailed documentation of patient care activities, observations, and progress in compliance with healthcare standards Support clients with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, autism, or developmental disabilities through specialized memory care techniques and compassionate engagement Qualifications Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize signs requiring medical attention Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in hospice or dementia care is a plus Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and confidentiality at all times Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving and social work principles Join us in providing exceptional home care that empowers individuals to live comfortably and independently. Pay:
$15.50 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
