Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care and support. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to provide essential assistance in clients' homes, promoting independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will deliver attentive, respectful, and professional care tailored to each person's unique needs, fostering a trusting relationship that enhances their quality of life. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; observe for any changes in condition Administer medications following care plans and ensure proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements and assist with meal planning and cooking Support patients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices; perform heavy lifting when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and organization within the home or community setting Document care activities accurately, update care plans regularly, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams and family members Experience Prior experience working in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia (including Alzheimer's), or memory care needs Familiarity with hospice care practices and working within HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality Hands-on experience using mobility aids like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts; capable of performing heavy lifting safely Proven ability to work compassionately with seniors or individuals with disabilities in long-term care environments Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and training in dementia or Alzheimer's care are advantageous Join us to provide heartfelt caregiving that truly transforms lives.
