Job Description
We are seeking to hire on-call / PRN (as needed) Caregivers for each of our service areas. Tell us which area is closest to your home, and when we can match you with a client or shifts you can complete according to your availability, we will reach out. Shifts are not guaranteed. You can work as little as 8 hours per week, and it is possible to get 40+ with overtime with the right client. •Because shifts are based on clients' lives, we cannot guarantee shift availability. This is a great job for those looking to pick up extra work for extra income, and also for college students looking into a healthcare career field. Perfect for nursing students. We encourage retired individuals looking for work to supplement income or to have something to do.

Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition or behavior Administer medication as prescribed, ensuring compliance with care plans and HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to safely transfer clients with mobility challenges Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents in compliance with privacy standards Support clients' emotional well-being through companionship, active listening, and engaging activities Perform light cleaning duties to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement personalized care plans and update progress reports Provide transportation for medical appointments or community outings when necessary Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings with a focus on senior or disability care Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's disease, memory care, autism spectrum disorder, and other developmental disabilities Certified in CPR and First Aid; familiarity with emergency response procedures Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in condition or behavior promptly Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using appropriate techniques or equipment such as Hoyer lifts Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with healthcare teams and family members Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure the privacy and confidentiality of patient information Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities or special needs Ability to follow detailed care plans while maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing needs Join us in providing compassionate care that empowers individuals to live their best lives.
