Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a compassionate, dependable in-home caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities in living full, meaningful, and independent lives. This role is about far more than caregiving•it's about building genuine connections, encouraging confidence, and becoming a positive part of someone's everyday world. Caregivers help with daily routines, community activities, meals, transportation, and personal goals while creating a safe, supportive, and uplifting environment. We offer a part-time schedule with opportunities for full-time employment as the company grows, and we work closely with employees to create flexible scheduling that fits around your availability and personal commitments. New team members receive paid orientation and ongoing training to help them feel confident and prepared in their role, along with continuing education opportunities to support both personal and professional growth. Starting pay ranges from $17•21 per hour depending on experience, with regular opportunities for pay increases as skills, training, and responsibilities grow. Most importantly, this role offers the rewarding experience of making a genuine difference in the lives of others every single day. Responsibilities Provide essential support, comfort, and companionship to individuals with developmental disabilities Prepare nutritious meals, assist with light housekeeping, and provide assistance with daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming as needed Medication setup and administration at specific times Update resident records in a timely manner in accordance with company policy Communicate clearly and kindly with clients, family members, doctors, and other supporting staff Report and document any safety issues or concerns with leadership Qualifications At least 18 years of age High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Valid CPR/AED certification (can be acquired after hiring and paid for by company) Must be able to pass and maintain an approved criminal background check and the Oregon
ORCHARDS
background check Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and vehicle insurance in compliance with DMV laws Physically able to lift up to 25lbs Willingness to adapt to the needs of the individual clients Compassionate, reliable, and committed to high-quality care Able to read, write and speak in English•ASL fluency is a plus and may be compensated accordingly Annual required training hours (paid) Benefits Part-time role, with opportunities for full-time in the future Flexible scheduling•we work around your availability Paid orientation and ongoing training Continuing education opportunities
Pay:
