Support clients with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's or dementia by implementing memory care strategies and providing companionship. Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe living environment. Document care activities meticulously, update care plans regularly, and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals about patient progress. Experience Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or dementia enhances your ability to deliver specialized care. Familiarity with safety procedures such as CPR and First Aid certification is required; ongoing training will be provided if needed. Proven ability to handle physical tasks including heavy lifting and the use of assistive devices like Hoyer lifts is essential.
