Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' vital signs and observe their overall health status, reporting any concerns promptly Administer medications accurately following prescribed care plans while maintaining HIPAA compliance for patient privacy Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Support clients with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia by implementing specialized techniques and ensuring a safe environment Use assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any changes in condition to ensure continuity of care Experience Prior experience in home health, assisted living, or nursing home settings is highly preferred Proven skills in patient observation and vital signs monitoring Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia enhances your ability to provide specialized care Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards is essential Hands-on experience with care plans, social work principles, and long-term care practice Strong communication skills for working collaboratively with families, healthcare teams, and other caregivers Requierments Valid Drivers License Must be 18 yrs old or older Proof of car insurance Complete a background check Embark on a rewarding caregiving journey where your dedication directly improves lives.
