Responsibilities Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

Hygiene Assistance:

Helping with bathing, showering, oral hygiene, and skincare

Dressing:

Assisting with selecting appropriate clothing and getting dressed Toileting Assisting with using the restroom, changing adults, and maintaining sanitation

Eating:

Helping clients eat or feeding those who cannot do so themselves

Mobility & SafetyTransferring & Positioning:

Helping clients get in and out of bed, chairs, or wheelchairs

Fall Prevention:

Clearing pathways, arranging assistive devices, and physically supporting the client.

Health & Medication Reminders:

Remind and ensuring that medications are taken at the correct times.

Household & Daily Chores:

Cooking nutritious meals that adhere to specific dietary needs or restrictions

Housekeeping:

Performing light cleaning, such as dusting, vacuuming, and doing laundry

Errands:

Grocery shopping, picking up prescription. -

Companionship & Emotional Support:

Keeping clients engaged in hobbies, community activities, and conversations to reduce isolation.
