In House Counsel Corporate, Business, Real Estate & Retail Transactions

About the Role Cyclum Renewables is expanding its national footprint and seeking an experienced, business‑oriented attorney to serve as In‑House Counsel. This role supports corporate legal operations, leads transactional work across real estate and retail development, and provides legal guidance for brand, marketing, and sponsorship initiatives. Responsibilities Corporate, Business & Contractual Support Advise on corporate governance, business operations, intellectual property, compliance, and risk mitigation. Provide legal guidance to internal teams across multiple business functions. Contract Drafting & Negotiation Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including purchase agreements, NDAs, service agreements, retail development agreements, and marketing/vendor contracts. Real Estate & Retail Transactions Lead legal oversight from LOI through closing. Manage due diligence, title and survey review, and preparation of closing documentation. Support retail site acquisition and development transactions. Marketing, Sponsorship & Brand Compliance Review marketing content, sponsorship agreements, and digital communications for legal compliance and brand alignment. Regulatory & Internal Support Assist with regulatory filings, policy development, and compliance initiatives. Support cross‑functional teams with legal research and operational guidance. Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with brokers, outside counsel, marketing teams, and internal leadership to align legal strategy with business goals. JV Partner Onboarding & Agreement Support Prepare, review, and negotiate joint venture partner agreements and related documentation. Ensure JV partner onboarding materials, obligations, and compliance requirements are legally sound and aligned with corporate strategy. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of JV agreements and ongoing partner compliance. Legal Landscape Monitoring Track developments in renewable energy, infrastructure, retail development, and marketing law to proactively manage risk and opportunity. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school; active bar membership in good standing 5+ years of experience in corporate, business, transactional, or real estate law Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills Experience with real estate transactions, including title/survey review and closings Experience with retail development or retail transactional work is a plus Familiarity with marketing law, sponsorship agreements, and brand compliance Excellent communication skills and ability to advise cross‑functional teams Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Interest in renewable energy, infrastructure, or emerging business sectors is a plus Why Join Us Join a forward‑thinking company at the intersection of clean energy and next‑generation infrastructure. Pay:

$100,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
