We use dispatch software and field service management software to streamline operations, optimize schedules, and ensure efficiency. Come join us and help us become even better! We are looking for a friendly and highly organized person with a technical background to be the first point of contact for our customers. This role involves handling inquiries, providing accurate quotes, scheduling services, assisting customers at the store counter, and supporting in-house locksmith operations when needed, including identifying and cutting keys and managing stock.Job Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email or text. Answer customer inquiries regarding residential, commercial, automotive locksmithing, and access control services, pricing, and scheduling. Provide accurate price quotes based on company guidelines. Schedule and coordinate service appointments efficiently using our dispatch and field service management software. Monitor pending and on-hold jobs to ensure they are rescheduled promptly. Attend to customers at the store counter, providing assistance and processing transactions. Handle cash and process payments accurately. Identify and cut keys for residential, commercial, and automotive purposes. Order and manage stock of locksmithing materials and supplies. Communicate professionally and courteously to build strong customer relationships. Remain calm and sympathetic when dealing with customers in lockout and other trying times. Handle customer concerns, resolve issues, and escalate when necessary. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. Work closely with technicians and management to ensure seamless service. Provide backup support to the in-house locksmith when needed.Minimum Requirements:
Must be fluent in English. Must be comfortable talking to customers on the phone and face-to-face Must be able to type and comfortable using PC's and software. Previous customer service experience required. Reliable transportation back and forth to our Fairfax City location. Ability to pass a background check.Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in a service-based industry. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong PC skills, including proficiency with email, spreadsheets, dispatch software, and field service management software. Basic mechanical or technical skills to understand locksmithing tools and processes. Ability to remain professional and patient in high-pressure situations. Experience handling cash and working at a service counter (preferred). Experience identifying and cutting keys is a plus. Experience ordering and managing stock is a plus. Must be comfortable working as part of a team. This is an in-house position and is not remote.
