Language Connections is looking for a creative, engaging, talented, and experienced English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor for our corporate classes in Utica, NY for part-time employment starting in June 2026.

SCHEDULE

Wednesdays (Virtually) 6:00-8:00pm Fridays (On Site) 8:30am-4:30pm

RATE:

Virtual:

$40/hr

On Site:

$55/hr

LEVEL:

Beginner and/or Pre-intermediate

STARTING DATE

June 2026 Skills and requirements:

• Bachelor's degree;

• TEFL/TESOL

  Certificate;
• Proficient English speaker and proficient Spanish speaker
• minimum 5 years of ESL teaching experience;
• strong communication and organizational abilities;
• detail-oriented, creative, dynamic, patient, and positive;
• familiar with different language teaching methods and ESL textbooks;
• familiar with MS Word and MS Excel
• experience living abroad and learning a second language is a plus Main responsibilities:
• Teach ESL classes and monitor students' progress;
• Submit regular progress reports in MS Word or MS Excel ;
• Prepare classes and implement lesson plans;
• Assign and correct homework and tests;
• Assist in the process of curriculum review and development
