Job Description

Job Summary LowKey Speech Teletherapy is seeking an SLPA to support a school-based caseload in Newport, New Hampshire for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an in-person position working closely with a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct therapy services and support student progress. About the Role This position plays a critical role in ensuring consistent service delivery for students. The SLPA will provide the majority of direct therapy services while working under the supervision of an SLP who supports evaluations, progress monitoring, and compliance. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable following treatment plans while maintaining accurate documentation. Position Overview Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students across assigned grade levels Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP Work with a caseload of approximately 45 students Support students with a range of communication needs, including articulation, and language Collaborate with school staff to support carryover of skills Key Responsibilities Deliver therapy sessions as outlined by the supervising SLP Collect and record data on student performance Maintain accurate service logs and documentation Participate in required supervision meetings with the SLP (including Medicaid-related supervision) Support implementation of AAC strategies and tools (as directed) Communicate with teachers and staff regarding student progress Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program (or equivalent) Active (or eligible) New Hampshire SLPA license School-based experience preferred Experience working with AAC is a plus What We're Looking For Reliable and consistent attendance Strong organization and attention to detail Ability to follow treatment plans and guidance from supervising SLP Team-oriented and collaborative Strong communication skills This district values team players who: communicate effectively stay on top of documentation and provide consistent services to students Work Environment In-person services with dedicated therapy spaces available Supportive school teams and administration Structured supervision and collaboration with SLP Why LowKey Speech?
