Outside Services Leader

PRINCIPLE DUTIES

Including, but not limited to:

• Ensure members and guests are greeted and welcomed in a professional and courteous manner.
• Anticipate and answer questions and provide assistance and information to all patrons.
• Maintain all cleanliness, visual and stocking standards of the cart facility, storage areas, and outside golf operations to make certain our appearance meet and exceed expectations.
• Ensure the professional image of Harrison Lake C.C. is always portrayed and maintained on and off property as a representative of the club.
• Ensure all standards are met within compliance of club policy and procedures.
• Assist with the facilitating and conducting club tournaments, outings, and special events.
• Make certain all associates comply with uniform and dress code standards.
• Work harmoniously with all associates, meeting and exceeding the operational and visual standards of Harrison Lake C.C.
• Keep records and documentation of cart fleet repairs, regular maintenance and execute them on a scheduled basis.
• Training and educating/mentoring the staff
• Keep the bag room neat, orderly, and functional
• Maintain the locker room and ensure that all name plaques are correct and new members are ordered in a timely fashion.
• Ensure that the golf shop and surrounding areas are neat and clean.
• Seek to maximize the experience and create an atmosphere of a place where people want to be.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND VISUAL SKILLS

Good organizational skills. Good verbal skills. Ability to successfully perform and manage multiple tasks. Ability to use logical or rational thinking to solve problems. Ability to provide effective written and verbal instructions, as well as the ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently. Ability to accomplish many assigned duties using appropriate computer and general office equipment. Ability to effectively monitor and develop subordinates. Ability to visually inspect professional golf shop merchandise displays and outside operations golf areas. Ability to play golf with members and guest. Ability to perform moderate physical work, may be required to lift up to 150 pounds of force occasionally, up to 75 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds constantly, performing such activities as bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting and grasping for up to (5) hours without sitting.

WORK CONDITIONS

Work areas can include the professional golf shop and outdoors overseeing outside operations. Potential exposure to equipment movement hazards, industrial heating and cutting utensils, misdirected golf balls and dangerous chemicals/solvents, pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers if proper safety procedures are not followed. Pay:

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
