Standard Internship Full Time Part Time Description At the World Baseball Academy (WBA), interns will be given hands-on experiences through a variety of opportunities. Schedules will be individually tailored to meet their school's requirements with the intention of helping them develop in their chosen field. Interns will have the chance to help with facility management and upkeep on our 27 acre campus. They will learn how a nonprofit business operates and contribute to different WBA programs including clinics, camps, tournaments, and fundraising events. Students are not required to know everything about the game of baseball or softball to be a part of our sports management internships, though having a basic knowledge of the game is helpful. This is an unpaid internship located at World Baseball Academy's ASH Centre Campus at 1701 Freeman Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Responsibilities Interns will need to be curious, ask questions and be open to new challenges. They need to be able to work with others and be able to take ownership of the projects given to them. Interns should be on time and be professional. Interns will be required work with their hands on maintenance and facility projects. They will also learn how to contribute to WBA programs. Qualifications The ideal intern will have strong communication skills, be a team player and always be punctual and professional. Interns need to have a willingness to learn and be a hard worker.
