Automotive Car Detail Supervisor Blossom Chevrolet - 3.0 Indianapolis, IN Job Details Full-time $21 - $22 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Paid training Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Detailing Basic math Driver's License Team management Driving Full Job Description SUMMARY Blossom Chevrolet is seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Detail Supervisor to leader or vehicle detailing team. The idea candidate will oversee the daily operations of the detail department, ensuring all vehicles are cleaned, polished, and prepared to dealership standards before delivery. Candidates should have strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and experience in automotive detailing within a fast-paced dealership environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages 5-7 people in the Detail Department. (Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience managing others) Keeps employees on task and maintains quality control of all vehicles that pass through the department. Maintains a safe and clean work environment. Creates positive working relationships with Used Car, Sales, and Body Shop departments to get cars through clean-up properly and as efficiently as possible. Has clear knowledge of chemicals use. Maintains bottle labels daily to ensure the team is utilizing chemicals properly. Responsible for snow removal and salt during winter months. Responsible for onsite trash clean-up and disposal. Keeps processes and procedures in place to maintain a successful team and environment. Utilizes an auto scrubber to maintain two floors nightly as well and locks down the building. Participates in training new staff members. Other responsibilities as assigned.Schedule:
Tuesday-Friday 10AM-7PM and Saturdays 9AM-6PM.BENEFITS INCLUDE

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year technical school and one to two-year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a valid Indiana Driver's license and a good driving record.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
