Job Description
Summary:
Turns lined and unlined gloves and mittens correct side out in a 3 to 5 stage process.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lined gloves and mittens are turned to correct side and confirm lining is intact and fully positioned. Place turned item on heated layoff board with accurate timing to avoid burning liner. Send item back to sewing department for final hemming. Unlined gloves and mittens are turned to correct side and not heated on layoff board. Other duties may be assigned.Requirements:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies : High school graduate or GED required 1-3 + years experience in manufacturing industry is a plus Ability to communicate effectively Basic math and writing skills required Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out one- or two-step instructions Ability to work independently Ability to listen to others without interrupting and keep emotions under control Remains open to others' ideas Supports everyone's efforts to succeed as a team Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
