This role is essential in providing therapeutic services to clients, aiding in pain management, relaxation, and overall wellness. The Massage Therapist will work closely with clients to assess their needs and deliver personalized treatment plans. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and health conditions. Provide a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to client requirements. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to address specific pain management issues effectively. Maintain accurate records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical terminology. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the med spa environment to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after treatments. Educate clients on self-care practices and wellness strategies that complement their massage therapy sessions. Requirements Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state regulations. Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and occupational health principles. Experience in patient service with excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients. Familiarity with medical terminology related to massage therapy practices. Ability to perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of massage therapy. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage client schedules effectively.
