Job Description

Company Overview Lloyd Ganton Retirement Centers is seeking a diligent and versatile Independent Villa Laborer to support the maintenance and operational needs of our residential community. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of landscaping, grounds upkeep, and villa turns. This role involves hands-on work to ensure the proper functioning of property facilities and general upkeep of the villa environment. Responsibilities Perform routine grounds maintenance, including, trimming, edging, weeding, and leaf removal. Assist with snow removal and ice control on sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and common areas. Maintain cleanliness of community grounds by collecting litter and disposing of debris. Assist with apartment/villa turnovers, including cleaning, painting, minor repairs, and preparation for new residents. Move furniture, appliances, equipment, and supplies as needed throughout the community. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, repairing screens, and minor carpentry work. Assist maintenance technicians with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building repair projects. Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to job sites. Operate and maintain groundskeeping and maintenance equipment safely and effectively. Inspect community grounds and buildings for safety hazards and report maintenance concerns promptly. Maintain sidewalks, curbs, parking areas, and outdoor amenities to ensure a safe environment for residents and visitors. Respond to work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner. Interact courteously and respectfully with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers. Participate in emergency preparedness activities and respond to weather-related or facility emergencies as directed.
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
